Tit for Tat: Restaurant refused to provide food to Sarah Sanders

White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders was banished from a restaurant in Virginia, on Friday. The incident comes days after one of her colleague, Kirstjen Nielsen, Secretary of Homeland Security, faced such similar rejection.

President Donald Trump is facing people’s anger for his inhumane policies of separating immigrant children from their parents. Many Trump administrative officials are also being criticized for supporting the policies. Stephanie Wilkinson, a Virginia based restaurant businesswoman and owner of Red Hen, is one among many people who is against such horrible policies. On Friday, Sanders visited Red Hen for a meal and before she could consume her order, she was requested to leave the hotel by Stephanie.

Stephanie justified her actions for expelling Sander, on moral grounds. She said that she wouldn’t accommodate anyone with heinous amoral. The restaurant owner strongly objected Sanders, for defending family-separating-policies.

“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me, I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.” Tweeted Sarah on her twitter page.

Stephanie Wilkinson told The Washington Post that, she doesn’t regret her actions and would to the same again, if necessary.

“Would have done the same thing again.” Said Wilkinson to the Post. “I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation” mentioned Stephanie.

In a similar happening, Kirstjen Nielsen, Secretary of Homeland Security, was asked to leave a Mexican restaurant. She left the restaurant premises blustering at the crowd.
