On her second day Delhi visit, Mamata Banerjee, met with UPA’s chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, and Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi. Banerjee, who is outspoken against BJP, has been meeting opposition party leaders to seek support in defeating BJP in 2019 elections. Previously, the All India Trinamool Congress chief, invited Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray to join her in a rally against BJP, on January 19 in Kolkata.
While addressing the press, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, expressed no desire to occupy cardinal post but, is determined to subjugate BJP in 2019 elections. “I am not for any chair, our aim is to defeat BJP” said Mamata.
