Imran Khan to take oath as PM of Pakistan among close family members and friends, without any foreign personalities

The unpredictable and unanticipated victory of cricketer-turned-politician, Imran Khan, decided to get appointed in-absence of mass congregation and elite members. According to earlier reports; Imran Khan, Prime Minister to-be for Pakistan, invited Indian PM Modi, Bollywood actor Amir Khan and Indian cricketers: Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Navjot Singh Sidhu to witness his oath as PM but, now reports suggest otherwise. Imran intends to have a small ceremony with only close family members and friends.

“It has been decided that no foreign personalities will be invited to the ceremony — it will be a completely national event. Only a few close friends of Imran Khan will be invited. There will be no show of extravagance at the event,” said PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry.

President Mamnoon Hussain, is set to appoint the PTI chief, Imran Khan, as PM of Pakistan.
