Google facilitates Offline access on Chrome for Android users

Search engine giant Google has announced a latest update with one of its products, Google Chrome. The update is set to launch in more than 100 countries including, India. Chrome’s new upgrade allows users to access internet content offline, in absence of internet connectivity.

The new feature in Chrome permits Android users to view selective contents off the internet. A user can download content from his/her favorite website and view it anytime later. Chrome will also download articles trending in one’s location and, a signed-in user can look up content from browsing history in absence of internet.

“It can be frustrating and hard to access the web when you lose connectivity or spend days disconnected. Spotty connectivity shouldn’t stop us from accessing our favorite sites to get information, whether it’s recent news or the latest cricket results” said Amanda Boss, Project manager for Chrome solutions.
