BJP MLA accuses MIM for letting immigrants into Hyderabad

BJP MLA and Member of Legislative Assembly, G Krishna Reddy accused MIM leaders for seeking political gain by permitting Rohingyas from Bangladesh and immigrants from Burma, into Hyderabad. The MLA alleged MIM’s hand in undocumented immigrants’ colony-establishments in place like Balapur, Hafeezbaba Nagar, Pahadi Sharif and Kishan Bagh in the city.

While speaking at a press meet, Reddy questioned Cova, an NGO, on what basis it issued ID cards for the immigrants, without government’s knowledge. He termed the foreigners as “illegal immigrants” and not as “refugees”. He demanded the identities of immigrates be revealed to the Center.
