Android “P” Beta available now, checks here if it is available for your phone or not

Google at its I/O 2018 event on Wednesday made a slew of announcements across Google News, Google Assistant, Google Maps and more. One of the key highlights of the event was the announcement of Android P Beta Developer Preview 2. Google announced that the company’s next-generation Android update — Android P is now rolling out in beta for all Pixel phones. Not only that, Google also informed that they are working with other smartphone manufacturers to bring the Android P update to their phones. Alongside Pixel phones, Android P Beta update is rolling out to other non-pixel phones as well.

To recall, Android P, the successor to Android Oreo, was first announced a couple of months ago with the release of Developer Preview 1. At I/O 2018, Google unveiled Android P Beta aka Android P Developer Preview 2. Google announced the availability of Android P Beta and said that they are now rolling out the update to Google Pixel devices and also to smartphones from other manufacturers like Nokia, Sony, OnePlus and Xiaomi that have Project Treble support. Google said, beginning today, users will be able to download install Android P Beta update on their supportive devices.
